About the Role
The primary goal of an Online Marketing Specialist is to enhance the company’s digital presence, attract and engage target audiences, and contribute to measurable business growth through effective online marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
* Own the maintenance, structure, and continuous improvement of the company website (WordPress, WooCommerce, Plytix), including creation of new pages and optimization of existing content
* Ensure data consistency and integrity across the website and PIM system (Plytix), including product data synchronization and structured content management
* Manage and troubleshoot WordPress environment topics such as plugins, layout/content issues, and basic debugging; coordinate with developers on technical fixes when required
* Contribute to SEO performance through on-page optimization (metadata, keyword usage, content structure)
* Create and prepare marketing assets using AI-based tools, Figma, and Adobe Illustrator for both digital and print applications
* Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across email and digital channels, including full ownership of newsletters and campaign workflows
* Manage and develop social media activities across relevant platforms with a focus on performance and engagement
* Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign and website performance using analytics tools; derive actionable improvements
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience with demonstrated hands-on execution
* Proven experience managing CMS platforms (especially WordPress/WooCommerce), including plugin handling and content structuring
* Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals (on-page structure, metadata, keyword optimization)
* Experience with analytics tools and performance tracking (e.g., website traffic, campaign effectiveness)
* Practical experience in campaign execution (email marketing, digital campaigns) with ownership of outcomes
* Familiarity with Figma and Adobe Illustrator for asset creation and preparation
* Fluent in English; German is a plus
* Ability to coordinate effectively with external partners, developers, and service providers
* German work permit, German residence

* Experience working with PIM systems (e.g., Plytix) and structured product data environments
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams
* Independent, hands-on working style with a focus on execution and problem-solving
