YOU ACT
Your responsibilities cover the worldwide commissioning of hot rolling mills for flat products. You will be responsible for:
1. Technological commissioning and process set-up of hot rolling mills for steel and aluminium like conventional hot-strip-mills, heavy plate mills, Steckel-mills, CSP®-hot-strip-mills resp. aluminum hot strip mills and aluminium plate mills, etc.
2. Optimizing process parameters to secure the product quality and production capacity targets
3. Analyzing operating data with focus on mechanical systems, automation equipment and processes
4. Drawing up optimization measures and initiating relevant measures in the commissioning team
5. Conducting and documenting the acceptance tests
6. Independently carrying out service assignments for repairs and maintenance
7. Feeding the main operating results back into the company

YOU KNOW
You have a degree in engineering and you are working as a rolling mill manger resp. rolling mill foreman or similar for a couple of years; you should also have:
9. Experience in the practical operation of hot flat rolling mills in steel or aluminum industry
10. Knowledge and experience of mechatronic systems
11. Knowledge for evaluating plant data
12. Work proficient English skills
13. An independent and target-oriented approach to work
14. Teamworking skills, openness, strong ability to perform under stress
15. A willingness to travel on business for long periods of time
16. Willingness to relocate is not required - if possible, you will be deployed close to your place of residence
