This role requires strong practical experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper, F5, and enterprise-grade firewall platforms. You will design, configure, troubleshoot, and lead critical network operations across data centers and customer infrastructures. The position involves high-severity incident handling, advanced L2/L3 troubleshooting, and serving as a senior escalation point for L2 teams. This is a highly technical, hands-on role suited for engineers comfortable operating in high-pressure, production-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and manage advanced networking solutions (VPN, MPLS, MP-BGP, VRF, VLAN, VXLAN, VPC, MLAG, HSRP, VRRP, VARP, Port-Channels)
Perform deep hands-on configuration and lifecycle management of Cisco, Arista, F5, and firewall devices
Lead L2 and L3 troubleshooting for internal and external connectivity paths
Act as senior escalation point for L2 engineers
Support rotational shifts and on-call operations
Handle Major Incident Management (MIM) and high-severity customer-facing incidents
Utilize ServiceNow (SNOW) for incident, change, and service request management
Work with monitoring/orchestration platforms (AWX, CVP, Cisco ACI, F5 BIG-IP)
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Problem Management processes
Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and SOPs
Contribute to network automation initiatives
Collaborate across infrastructure domains to resolve high-impact issues
Required Skills
8–15 years in enterprise networking environments
8–10+ years of direct, hands-on configuration experience with physical network devices
Strong expertise in Cisco, Arista, F5, and firewall platforms
Deep knowledge of L2/L3 protocols, routing, switching, high availability, and load balancing
Strong experience with VPNs, MPLS, MP-BGP, VXLAN, and F5 LTM/GTM
Proven experience handling customer-facing high-severity incidents
Experience in data center network architecture and operations
End-to-end troubleshooting capability across on-prem and external connectivity
Preferred Qualifications
Strong experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM/GTM), iRules, traffic policies
Automation experience (Python, Ansible)
Experience with ITIL practices (Change, Incident, Problem Management)
Prior involvement in RCA documentation and process improvement
Strong communication and leadership skills
