Your role
* You actively support the preparation of the consolidated monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB in SAP SEM BCS
* With your help, the preparation of timely reporting to the management is ensured
* You are actively involved in the automation and digitalization strategy of the finance and accounting processes (book to report, finance dashboards)
* You develop technical solutions for special accounting and consolidation issues in accordance with HGB (e.g. mergers, first-time consolidations and deconsolidations, PPAs, asset/share deals, high inflation accounting and much more)
* You actively support the implementation of our CSRD-compliant sustainability reporting with the aim of ensuring that our consolidated financial statements comply with the EU taxonomy and are auditable in accordance with CSRD
* You are responsible for creating and updating the DÖHLER accounting guidelines
* You prepare ad-hoc evaluations and monthly analyses of the financial statements
* You are the contact person for auditors
Your profile
* You have successfully completed a degree in business administration and ideally have gained initial experience in a large auditing firm or in the finance department of a manufacturing company
* Very good knowledge of HGB accounting rounds off your profile
* Using and working with Microsoft Office and SAP is part of your daily business
* You have an affinity for the technical analysis of financial and accounting processes and like to think outside the box
* You are characterized by creative drive, strong communication skills across all hierarchical levels and assertiveness
* You quickly understand complex issues, think clearly and analytically and contribute innovative ideas
* You are a team player and know how to communicate effectively in German and English
