Description Responsible for leading and coordinating the EHS network across the EMEA Refractory Hub, covering 7 manufacturing sites across Europe, ensuring consistent deployment of Calderys EHS standards, compliance systems, and safety culture initiatives. The role drives hub-wide EHS performance through audits, KPIs, risk management, training, and continuous improvement, while advising leadership on priorities, compliance, and strategic risks. In addition, it includes direct site-level EHS responsibility for Neuwied, covering compliance, incident management, emergency preparedness, and environmental performance. Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate the EHS network across the Refractories Hub, ensuring alignment, reviews, and communication with site teams, local EHS, and Group EHS. Deploy, monitor, and continuously improve the Calderys EHS roadmap across the hub, including protocols, compliance systems, environmental assessments, and safety culture initiatives. Promote a strong safety culture and drive hub-wide EHS performance through KPIs, audits, gap analyses, and continuous improvement. Advise the Hub Director on EHS priorities, risks, compliance obligations, and improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ISO, and Group EHS standards across all hub sites. Conduct risk assessments, develop preventive measures, maintain EHS management systems, and implement emergency/crisis plans at hub sites. Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and sharing of best practices across the hub. Provide guidance, training, and support to employees, contractors, and local EHS teams across all hub sites. Integrate EHS considerations into CAPEX, industrial projects, and contractor management. Manage site-level EHS responsibilities for Neuwied site, including compliance, risk management, audits, emergency preparedness, and environmental impact reduction initiatives. Requirements: Master’s degree in HSE, Engineering, or a related field with 5 years in HSE roles, preferably in multinational, multi-site environments. Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, legal compliance, risk assessment, incident analysis, and environmental standards (ISO). Fluent in German and English, proficient in Microsoft Suite, Power BI, and PowerApps. Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, analytical, planning, project management, and problem-solving skills.
