🖥️ About the Role
This is an Account Executive role for someone early in their sales career who wants to develop fast, in a high-expectation environment, working directly alongside the founders.
This is primarily an Account Executive role focused on progressing and closing deals, with some responsibility for building pipeline through outbound activity. The successful candidate will work across enterprise sales cycles with complex stakeholders, while also helping drive opportunities in smaller manufacturing businesses.
Hybrid in Berlin — the full commercial team works from the office 3–4 days a week.
🎯 What you’ll do
* Own opportunities across the full cycle; discovery, progression, and closing.
* Build and develop your own pipeline alongside SDR-generated leads.
* Work closely with the founders on live deals: strategy, preparation, and follow-through.
* Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes at enterprise accounts.
* Maintain high-quality, multi stakeholder sales processes at enterprise accounts.
* Represent Cozero at customer meetings and events.
* Adapt quickly as the product and go-to-market continue to evolve
⭐Must-Haves:
* At least one previous role with real commercial or customer-facing exposure.
* Genuine curiosity and a strong desire to keep learning.
* Some exposure to sales, commercial, or customer-facing work.
* Good business judgment, understand financial logic and can speak the language of operators.
* Confidence to ask probing, uncomfortable questions in a sales conversation.
* A proactive, outgoing approach to office collaboration, customer meetings, and events.
* Comfort operating without a script in an environment that's still being built.
You do not need:
* Deep sustainability experience
* A specific academic background
* Years of established AE experience

📍 Where You'll Work
Hybrid - Berlin office, 3–4 days per week. The full commercial team works this way.
🌱 Compensation & Benefits
€55,000 – €75,000 per year base + commission (double OTE), (varies by experience).
We publish our salary bands publicly so everyone, including our team, can see we're being fair and transparent. During interviews, we'll talk through where you'd land in this range based on your experience and where you're based.
