Your Job
1. Provide proactive monitoring and support to MGA/TPA a on all claims-related matters, including conducting thorough claims audits and due diligences in collaboration with other Munich Re international organizations and business units.
2. Effectively manage claims within the division's area of responsibility, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate account performance, estimate exposures, and identify key loss drivers.
3. Offer expert claims guidance and support to client management and underwriting teams, providing valuable feedback on claims trends, product development, and claims strategies, as well as advising on policy wording and claims handling best practices.
4. Demonstrate project ownership and leadership by managing workshops, facilitating meetings, and driving the development of efficient claim processes, including first notice of loss, policy administration, fast track claims, estimates, subrogation, and litigation management.
Your Profile
5. University degree and possession of extensive professional experience in the European non-life insurance market, with a strong focus on Motor, Property, and Casualty insurance
6. Demonstrating in-depth knowledge and expertise in the management of primary insurance claims, with a proven track record of effectively handling complex claims and driving successful outcomes
7. Strategic thinking and ability to analyze claims processes, detect issues, investigate ways and make recommendation to resolve/improve as well as present them orally, visually and in writing
8. Experience in digital claim services that could enhance the claims processes of our clients
9. Ability to work systematically and independently
10. Self-motivating, and preparedness to take ownership of project execution
11. Focused on results and solutions, with excellent presentation skills, conflict-management skills and a good team player
12. Willingness to travel internationally – sometimes also on short notice
13. Excellent command of written and spoken business French and English required, German language skills are of advantage
