As Junior Flight Test Engineer you will be part of the team that takes our aircraft into the air, instruments them, captures the data and turns it into the certification evidence that gets them into service.
Your Responsibilities
* Layout and design of flight test equipment including supervision and support of the installation
* Calibration and preprocessing of the required data
* Organisation and preparation of flight test briefings and debriefings
* Preparation of flight test documentation including test cards and test orders
* Administration of configuration control
* Postprocessing and documentation of test data including administration
* Preparation of certification reports
* Participation in ground and flight tests to assist the test pilot
Your Profile
* Completed degree from a university or university of applied sciences in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or a comparable field
* Flight testing experience desirable
* Flying experience beneficial
* Shop floor experience with aircraft or electric components beneficial
* Python programming knowledge
* Experience with flight test instrumentation beneficial (Curtiss-Wright KAM-500 or Axon)
* Knowledge of EASA certification specifications
* Strong analytical mindset, structured way of working and team oriented attitude
* Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
