We are looking for an experienced IT Administrator (m/f/d) - based in Germany (must have) to join our team and help us scale our IT infrastructure securely and efficiently.
As an IT Administrator at Boardwise, you will be responsible for managing our IT systems with a strong focus on cloud security, endpoint management, and IT infrastructure. You will play a critical role in maintaining our remote-first environment, ensuring that all systems are secure, up-to-date, and optimized for performance.
Activities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and optimize Intune, Azure, M365, and other cloud-based tools
2. Oversee endpoint management for both Mac and Windows devices
3. Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and security policies
4. Ensure system backups and monitor vulnerabilities to maintain a strong security posture
5. Develop and maintain clear documentation for IT processes, systems, and infrastructure
6. Provide proactive support for IT-related issues within a remote-first environment
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and improve our security protocols
Requirements
Your profile:
8. Based in Germany (must have)
9. 5+ years of experience in IT Administration or Endpoint Management
10. Proficiency with Intune, Azure, M365, and related tools
11. Strong knowledge of DLP, MFA, backups, and vulnerability management
12. Experience with both Mac and Windows environments
13. Security-first mindset with a focus on protecting company data and infrastructure
14. Experience working in a remote-first environment or with distributed teams
15. Strong documentation skills and process orientation
16. Fluent in English (required), German (preferred but not mandatory)
