As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:
1. You support the development of the group-wide Data Governance Framework within the DKV Group
2. You design and implement Data Governance processes covering the entire data lifecycle (e.g. Data Quality Framework)
3. You collaborate closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to develop sustainable concepts for efficient data asset management
4. You contribute to building a professional stakeholder management approach (Data Stewards, Domain Stewards, Domain Owners) to ensure scalable roll-out of Data Governance processes
5. You increase the maturity of the existing governance framework, with a strong focus on effective and structured data management
6. You strengthen the Data Governance Framework by expanding the data catalog and further developing the enterprise reporting solution (Power BI)
What makes you stand out
7. You hold a completed degree in business administration, (business) informatics, or a comparable qualification, along with several years of professional experience (approx. 3–6 years) in the field of Data Governance, Data Management, or related data-focused roles
8. You have hands-on experience with Data Governance initiatives, working effectively within complex organizational structures and contributing to the operational implementation and continuous development of governance frameworks and processes
9. You are proficient in analytical BI tools for data analysis and for supporting governance-related questions, and you have experience using, maintaining, and evolving data catalogs for structured data documentation
10. You possess a solid understanding of modern data architectures, common governance standards, and relevant regulatory requirements
11. You work independently, systematically, and in a results-oriented manner, with strong analytical skills, a structured approach, and a pronounced focus on data quality and order
12. You collaborate confidently with diverse stakeholders, create professional analyses and presentations using MS PowerPoint and Excel, communicate fluently in German and English, and demonstrate a strong willingness for continuous development in Data Governance methods, tools, and organizational models
