About the Role

We are looking for a Regional Cybersecurity Specialist (RCS) to join a global cybersecurity organization and play a key role in driving cyber resilience, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction across a defined region.

As a senior cybersecurity leader, you will act as a strategic partner to regional business and technology stakeholders, ensuring that global cybersecurity strategy is effectively implemented while addressing local risks, regulations, and operational challenges.

This is a high-impact, transversal role at the intersection of security, business, and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own and maintain the regional cyber risk register

2. Assess risks related to business initiatives, technology changes, and operations

3. Provide insights to support enterprise-level decision-making

4. Ensure adoption of global cybersecurity policies and standards across the region

5. Manage exceptions, remediation plans, and audit readiness (e.g., SOX)

6. Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, and Regulatory teams

7. Lead regional response to major cybersecurity incidents

8. Coordinate containment, recovery, and communication

9. Drive post-incident improvements and resilience exercises

10. Oversee vendor risk assessments (TPRM)

11. Support remediation of third-party risks

12. Monitor supply chain and external threat exposure

13. Advise on IT/OT architecture, cloud, IAM, and network security

14. Ensure security-by-design across digital and transformation initiatives

15. Align with global architecture and engineering teams

16. Act as the regional cybersecurity representative for regulatory matters (e.g., GDPR)

17. Ensure audit and certification readiness

18. Monitor evolving regulations and guide business stakeholders

19. Serve as a trusted advisor to CIOs and regional leadership

20. Embed cybersecurity into strategy, transformation, and M&A activities

21. Deliver executive-level reporting on security posture

22. Lead regional security awareness initiatives

23. Track behavioral metrics and improve security culture

24. Oversee cybersecurity aspects of major regional programs

25. Track KPIs/KRIs and report to senior leadership

Your Profile

26. 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity

27. Strong background in regional or global environments

28. Experience working across multiple countries and business units

29. Strong knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance)

30. Experience with frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, PCI-DSS, MITRE ATT&CK

31. Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, and network security

32. Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels

33. CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP

34. ISO 27001 Lead Implementer / Auditor

35. CEH or equivalent

36. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

37. Ability to translate technical risk into business insights

38. Comfortable operating in high-pressure and complex environments

39. Experience working in multicultural and international contexts
