As the Compensation and Benefits Lead, you will be managing the function in a leadership role and guiding a team of Specialists who contribute in the execution and communication of total reward policies globally for GOC.
Design and communicate total reward policies, programs and initiatives aligned to the long term HR strategy and business goals. Develop and apply global guidelines, frameworks, toolkits and methodologies for GOC. Ensure the Total Rewards offerings are relevant, competitive and affordable.
Position Responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits Design:
* Design, build, modify, and implement total rewards processes, policies, and programs in alignment with HR and GOC strategy
* Perform global market salary and/or benefits benchmarking to ensure GOC compensation is in line with guiding principles
* Ensure compensation and benefits align with desired GOC talent strategy
* Help develop and apply global GOC compensation and benefits guidelines, frameworks, and methodologies
* Maintain expert knowledge by researching leading practices, monitoring legal developments, evaluating emerging trends, and keeping appraised of technological advancements related to compensation and benefits
* Act as a day-to-day compensation interface for HR and leadership
* Management of resources performing these key responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits Administration:
* Serve as a main point of contact for all issues related to the Total Rewards areas and manage relationships with stakeholder group and key individuals
* Plan and coordinate the timely processing of all compensation, benefits, pensions and/or equity programs according to agreed SLAs and statutory / legal obligations
* Oversee the annual pay and bonus review process via the internal tools
* Monitor compensation and pension trends to provide guidance to leadership on direction on the programs
Additional Responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate the timely processing of all operational transactions related to compensation, benefits, pensions and equity programs according to agreed SLAs and statutory obligations
* Manage significant enhancements to Total rewards systems, tools and processes, designing processes, procedures, systems requirements, reports, policies and other enabling tools necessary to effectively operationalize global processes
* Serve as subject matter expert, applying comprehensive knowledge of one or more HR processes and associated tools and maintain expert knowledge by researching best practices, monitoring legal developments, evaluating emerging trends, keeping appraisal of technological advancements and conducting benchmark comparisons
* Manage health and welfare and benefits projects as necessary
* Establish and build relationships with multiple internal/external customers
* Collaborate with other teams to enhance compensation and benefits processes and procedure
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance or related field
* 15+ years of overall experience in Human Resources
* 8 to 10 years of Work experience in Compensation and Benefits
* 5+ years of experience leading C&B teams.
* Strong experience in Compensation structures and Benefits programs design
* Experience in Employment law and regulatory compliance tracking and reporting
* Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP)
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
* Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills interfacing with vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree (e.g., MBA or Master's in HR Management, Finance or related field)
* Experience managing compensation and benefits programs across multiple countries or regions
* Experience working with global compensation, benefits, businesses, vendors and teams
* Navigate ambiguity and be comfortable with some level of inconsistency
* Experience using various pay & benefits systems and tools is desired
* Excellent stakeholder & vendor management skills
* Strong ability to plan proactively and confidence to rely on own judgment
