You Bring (Experience + Qualification):
* Degree in Computer Science/ Manufacturing/ Metallurgy/ Industrial Engineering/ Physics or related fields;
* 3+ years of experience as MES or Engineering Consultant;
* Practical knowledge in programming (Java) and database applications (PL/SQL);
* Strong analytical skills translating customer needs into operational requirements;
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with executives, managers, and experts;
* Valid work permit;
* Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
A Plus is Always Great:
* Experience in MES Integration with ERP and L2 Systems;
* Knowledge or experience with Planning and Scheduling (APS Systems);
* Knowledge or experience in the metals industry;
* Understanding of the various software development lifecycles e.g. Agile, Waterfall;
