As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:
1. You actively contribute to strategic payment projects and take responsibility for coordinating colleagues with sub‑project ownership in cross‑functional payment initiatives.
2. In this role, you are responsible for the ongoing development of our payment solutions in close collaboration with external service providers, internal stakeholders, and in alignment with management.
3. You coordinate technical providers, in particular our processing service provider as well as connected systems and additional partners.
4. In addition, you support the stable operation of the processing system and, after appropriate onboarding, participate in on‑call duty.
5. As a technical point of contact, you advise internal departments on payment instruments and payment processes within the fuel station and tolling environment.
6. You create technical feasibility studies and specifications and take responsibility for the analysis, specification, testing, and certification of business requirements for IT solutions.
7. Furthermore, you independently and proactively develop studies and concepts and work closely with Product Management, Corporate Development, other IT teams, and the Security Officer on the development of new payment solutions.
What makes you stand out
8. You have successfully completed a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
9. You bring solid knowledge of payment, card and transaction processing, or electronic payment systems.
10. You have a strong technical understanding of payment system architectures, authorization systems, and interfaces to external service providers, and you have experience in analyzing, specifying, and implementing product requirements.
11. You are familiar with creating technical specifications and feasibility studies.
12. Experience with payment processes in the acceptance environment, such as POS systems, fuel stations, or toll systems, is an advantage.
13. Ideally, you also have experience in test management and certification processes for payment solutions. Basic knowledge of IT security and compliance requirements in the payment environment is desirable.
14. You have very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, and use them confidently when working with internal and external stakeholders.
