Your task
* You bear overall responsibility for the data strategy, data management and data quality at the hospital
* They are building a central, governance-compliant data repository and continuously developing it further.
* They establish and control data processes, standards, and data governance structures.
* They ensure the integration and quality of data from KIS, SAP, PDMS, archive and other source systems.
* They introduce and further develop reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).
* They create structures that enable efficient data use in clinical practice, controlling, research and administration.
* They ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (including data protection, critical infrastructure, interoperability).
* They manage internal teams as well as external partners in the areas of reporting, BI and data governance.
* They work closely with medical departments, controlling, research, the city of Ludwigshafen, and governance & strategy.
* They are a member of the extended IT management team.
Your profile
* Degree in computer science, medical informatics, data management or a related field
* Several years of experience in data management, BI or IT architecture, ideally in the healthcare sector.
* Sound knowledge of data quality, interoperability standards and governance
* Leadership experience with internal teams and external service providers
* Strong analytical thinking, communication skills and project management competence
