Your tasks
9. Analysis of import transactions and independent import customs clearance using various procedures (inward processing, outward processing, free circulation, etc.)
10. Analysis of export transactions and independent export customs clearance using various procedures and transaction types (final export, temporary export, re-export, etc.)
11. Analysis and implementation of preference certificates to save customs duties for customers in third countries
12. Advice on various interfaces for import and export processes
13. Disposition of freight space for land, air and sea transportation, taking into account economic aspects
14. Processing and preparation of customs and shipping documents (e.g. export accompanying document, dangerous goods declaration, dispatch note, CMR consignment note, customs document Carnet ATA, compliance with letter of credit conditions, etc.)
15. Preparation of all incoming and outgoing EU goods for the Federal Statistical Office
Your profile
16. Successfully completed degree in law, diploma or master's degree in business informatics, economics, business law or comparable or completed vocational training with demonstrable relevant professional experience
17. Several years of relevant professional experience in logistics and customs (at least three years of practical professional experience in customs declarations)
18. Dangerous goods training for air transport according to the rules of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) desirable
19. Knowledge of the Union Customs Code
20. Handling of VS orders (all seal classifications) and KrWaffKontrG orders
21. Good knowledge of customs and foreign trade law
22. Good knowledge of shipping and dangerous goods regulations for all modes of transport
23. Flexibility, quick comprehension, independence, initiative and a structured way of working
24. Assertiveness and communication skills
25. Good written and spoken German and English skills
26. Confident handling of common MS Office applications and SAP
