We are looking for an experienced Web Analytics Architect / Analytical Engineer Web Tracking, who is passionate about understanding user behaviour on web-based products and leveraging data to drive value for our customers and business. This role is an intersection of technical web tracking, data transformation, and data analytics.
As a key member of our Business Intelligence & Data Analytics team, you will work alongside Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Marketing and Product teams fostering data capturing and insight generation and understanding customer behaviour on our digital products.
Your responsibilities:
1. Empower and consult technical and non-technical stakeholders around web tracking, experimentation and behavioural data capturing (focusing on product and marketing analytics)
2. Ensure that data captured via your tools is properly ingested into our data platforms and can be understood and used by consuming parties
3. Support in generating ad-hoc insights and assist in building custom reports and dashboards
4. Lead and enhance the technical architecture, vision and implementation of our Web Tracking, Tag Management (e.g., Server side GTM) and Experimentation (A/B testing - Optimizely) setups
5. Proactively audit, test, debug, and monitor the tracking and experimentation setup
6. Drive cross-functional execution by partnering with Product, Engineering, UX, Design, Marketing, Content teams, and Data colleagues
You've got
7. Enthusiasm for e-commerce, product and marketing analytics
8. A passion for utilising coding skills to derive insights from data
9. Desire to grow as an individual contributor & expert, taking on important functional leadership responsibilities
10. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in Data and / or Product / Marketing Analytics, focusing on behavioural insights, experimentation, growth, conversion optimization, and web tracking
11. Proven track record of building and having a leading role setting up and maintaining a bigger Web Tracking Setup (ideally multi website, multi country)
12. Proficiency in relevant tools such as Google Tag Manager (including server-side tracking), Google Analytics 4, Dataform, Optimizely, Looker Studio, BigQuery (including writing complex queries), ClickHouse or equivalent solutions
13. Experience in leading or deep involvement in CRO and Experimentation programs for an e-commerce business is a plus
14. Educational background in Data Engineering, Data Science, Software Development, Product Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field
15. Strong coding skills in SQL, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or R, with a deep understanding of modern web technologies
16. Solid knowledge of e-commerce KPIs and metrics
17. Additional expertise in Data Warehousing and Cloud Environments like GCP is a plus
18. Familiarity with marketing attribution and different models is a plus
