Purpose: Support GBS Center Head Porto to implement the vision and strategy in GBS Porto Finance Operations. Overall be responsible for GBS Porto Finance Service delivery out of Porto to adidas market organizations in greater EMEA and the Americas. Support GBS Center Head Porto to drive the GBS Finance project transformation, organization and competence buildup for the location. Focus on optimizing service delivery and customer satisfaction after stabilization. Be accountable for the improvement and customer satisfaction related to the delivery processes, including delivery of the efficiency savings within GBS Porto Finance team. Be EMEA and Americas GBS Finance Transition inbound manager.
Key Responsibilities and General Accountabilities:
Ensure and Lead the Inbound team (Workshadowees) during GBS Finance Transition
* Work closely with and support GBS Program Office on APAC Finance Roadmap design
* Prepare SME to work closely with GBS Finance Transition Management team on transition impact assessment
* Be in charge of inbound team hiring and training to secure resource readiness for KT&T
* Proactively work with different transition stakeholders to drive transition executed according to methodology and transition plan
* Take ownership of work quality of inbound team to ensure a smooth transition of all streams operation into the delivery center
GBS Finance Team Operation & Service Delivery Management
* Build up Finance Team competence and develop people
o Be role model, lead and coach the GBS Porto finance team on driving an adequate deployment of the GBS standards and mindset across all operational teams
o Own GBS Porto Finance people development and ENPS
* Deliver services in accordance with established Finance standard processes
o Coordinate with GBS different finance stream GPO and drive decisions towards adoption and implementation of standard processes to limit deviations to the minimum, ensuring constant revision and improvement of operations
o Provide a comprehensive governance framework for GBS Porto and drive change requests of new solution utilization across all GBS finance streams
o lead the transformation to the GBS Finance service deliverables in accordance with the Global GBS Operating Model
o Be center of excellence to be in front line of global process or system change implementation
* Drive finance complex issue resolution and high customer satisfaction
o Ensure GBS Porto finance services level and tasks delivered in line with SLA and KPI
o Address on-going requirements raised by markets and drive for finance solutions under standard template
o Actively lead GBS team be interfaced with market strategy and provide value added services accordingly
o Drive for team performance improvement linked to NPS
* Work closely with GPO and Solution team on driving finance team performance continuous improvement & efficiency delivery through process standardization, harmonization as well as automation development and execution
Key Country Finance Representative
* Sign Representative Letter to key EMEA and Americas countries’ FDs
* Own and lead in scope EMEA and Americas finance operation and accounting process
* Safeguard in scope EMEA and Americas country finance operation and accounting process and GAAP compliance in day to day operation and enhancement business or system project implementation
Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience:
* Fluent English, Portoguese beneficial but not required
* Excellent communication and people management skills
* Learning agility and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Strategic thinking and ability to translate strategy into concrete plans and deliverables
* Expert of Finance (CPA or equivalent is a plus)
* Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines
* Ability to guide teams in a trustful and proficient manner
* Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools
* Ability to manage complexity and diverse senior stakeholders
* Vision and skills to define guidelines for solution building & delivery
* Taking accountability for process quality, process review, compliance and status of enhancement projects / streams
* Strong motivation and skills to drive standardization and efficiency within their process area
Qualifications:
1. Bachler degree or equivalent experience, preferable in finance or business
2. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in finance
3. Minimum of 6 years of experience in management positions
4. SSC or GBS leadership experience highly preferred
5. Strong experience in process improvement or transformation programs
6. Be able to frequently travel
