Responsibilities:
1. Responsible leadership of metal component manufacturing at the Eurasburg site across 7 production lines: sawmill, 5 machining lines, and fine machining, with approximately 145 employees and 7 Operations Managers as direct reports.
2. Accountability for the strategic development and implementation of digitization and automation initiatives.
3. Ensuring a productive and flexible manufacturing process to best meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
4. Identification and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
5. Ensuring compliance with quality standards and continuous improvement of production quality.
6. Planning and monitoring of the production area budget.
7. Close collaboration with interface departments such as Engineering, Quality, Planning, CAM, Tool Management, HSE, Industrial Engineering, etc.
Qualifications:
8. Completed technical degree combined with solid business management knowledge
9. Several years of professional experience in a production environment, including core competencies in machining, automation, and digitalization
10. Several years of leadership experience as an Operations Director with a corresponding strategic background
11. Strong knowledge of production planning and control as well as lean management
12. Distinct leadership and communication skills
13. Analytical mindset and a solution‑oriented approach
14. Business‑fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken (CEF B2/C1)
