The Role

We are looking for an experienced Network Architect to provide on-demand subject matter expertise in network architecture and design. Operating within a complex, enterprise-scale environment, you will play a key role in assessing existing network infrastructures, identifying areas for improvement, and designing robust, scalable solutions aligned with business and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth assessments of existing network environments, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for optimisation

Design and document network architecture solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements

Provide expert technical guidance to internal teams and stakeholders on architecture decisions and best practices

Support the resolution of complex network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations

Contribute to network transformation initiatives, including migrations, upgrades, and technology refreshes

Advise on Cisco-based infrastructure design and integration within broader enterprise environments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between network architecture and organisational goals

Profile

Proven experience as a Network Architect in large-scale, enterprise or managed services environments

Deep expertise in network architecture principles, design methodologies, and infrastructure assessment

Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and solutions

Experience supporting complex network transformations and change programmes

Ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences

Fluent in English ; German is a strong advantage
