The Head of Engineering leads initiatives that enhance the current engineering capabilities at multiple levels. This role is critical in supporting current engineering projects and leveraging site engineering knowledge while ensuring business continuity.
Lead an Engineering Team at a Biopharma production site, overseeing bioproduction buildings, QC, Cleanroom Cleaning and Warehouse.
Elevate the Engineering team's capabilities by enhancing site knowledge, coaching, and fostering a culture of “Getting Things Done” aligned with company strategy.
Develop and implement Engineering roadmaps for short, mid, and long-term business continuity.
Conduct critical process assessments of engineering, maintenance, cleaning, and commissioning to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Assess and advocate for the optimization of tools and resources to align with project goals and industry best practices.
Establish workflow priorities to streamline processes and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Provide technical guidance, particularly related to WFI systems and clean utilities, ensuring quality and compliance.
To excel in the role of Head of Engineering, you should possess the following qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years in an engineering leadership position with experience on site level, within the life sciences sectors. Technical expertise in engineering principles, including Clean and Black utilities, HVAC, electricity, and automation, within GxP context, and the ability to implement best practices.
Proficiency in both English and German (knowledge of Dutch is not required).
