Performs administrative tasks to support CEO communication activities.Possible Tasks within this roleAssists in the development and release of executive correspondence. Coordinates executive correspondence and enforces policy and procedures governing preparation, submission, and control of correspondence to the CEO for information, signature, or approval.ExecutionEnsures that adequate internal controls such as proper standard operating procedures and administrative instructions are in place and enforced in order that the flow of information and correspondence to and from the CEO is timely and accurate.Business adviceProvides business divisions with administrative guidance, protocols, and specialized requirements in preparing correspondence and actions for submission to the CEO. Reviews information presented so that it is complete, accurate, and up-to-date and that documents are suitable in terms of coverage, balance, method of expression, and presentation and adheres to document objectives. Oversees the revision process and coordinates changes with business divisions.Content creationSupports the writing and editing process for communications for the CEO, including messaging, emails, blog posts, scripts, speeches, remarks, storytelling and thought leadership assets, and internal and external presentations.Content reviewEdits written materials to ensure coherence, style, accuracy, grammatical correctness, and adherence to brand and editorial guidelines. This duty includes content editing, copyediting, proofreading, and fact-checking.EventsSupports on internal executive events, partnering with colleagues from various communication business units as may be needed. Prepares and proofreads key messages, backgrounders, and briefings for the CEO. Prepares and reviews presentations and supports the rehearsal process (e.g. for CEO speeches).Social mediaWorks with colleagues from social media communications to prepare and publish content via social media channels. Coordinates activities, proofreads, and reviews content that is to be published.AdministrationCatalogs communication requests and creates communication material. Documents and archives relevant material in appropriate systems.
