German-Speaking Key Account Manager Main Responsibilities:
• Establish, develop, and maintain close relationships with global customers
• Identify and acquire international construction projects, particularly in industrial and commercial sectors
• Conduct market research and deliver company presentations to potential clients
• Build and expand international business networks through trade fairs and industry events
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
• Support project management activities throughout project development phases
• Identify and evaluate project opportunities, risks, and cost implications in cooperation with operational project teams
• Collaborate with internal teams across 13 global branches as well as external stakeholders including clients, planners, and subcontractors
• Take over and further develop global sales activities together with an existing colleague
• Travel internationally for customer meetings, trade fairs, and project acquisition activities
German-Speaking Key Account Manager Ideal Candidate:
• Business level of fluency in both English and German
• Class B driving licence required
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a comparable technical qualification
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the construction or architecture industry
• Strong sales and client acquisition skills with excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to clearly present and explain technical topics to clients and stakeholders
• Strong analytical thinking with a structured, goal-oriented working style and effective time management
• High level of technical and commercial understanding with strong intercultural communication and teamwork skills, while remaining resilient under pressure
• Experience in construction or project management is desirable
• Experience in sales or quotation preparation within the construction sector
• Experience in project organisation and project management
