Investment Fund Specialist Role
Our company offers a unique opportunity for an Investment Fund Specialist to join our team.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage the legal aspects of our investment funds. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of fund regulation, company law, and financial markets.
As an Investment Fund Specialist, you will be responsible for drafting and updating legal documents, including prospectuses, articles of incorporation/management regulations, notices to shareholders, and board resolutions.
You will also be required to liaise with supervisory authorities and governing bodies, as well as assist the Product Management Team and Project Team in launching, restructuring, and on-boarding Luxembourg, Belgian, Irish, Dutch, and Spanish investment funds.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Law or economics/finance, and practical experience in the fund industry in a similar position.
Desirable skills include knowledge of legal/regulatory requirements and funds' organization applicable to UCITS and AIF, knowledge of Luxembourg company law, financial markets, and products, and fluency in French and English, with Dutch being an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft and/or update legal documents, including prospectuses, articles of incorporation/management regulations, notices to shareholders, and board resolutions.
2. Update prospectuses as needed, including creation or removal of sub-funds, share classes, change of investment policies, implementation of regulatory changes, and mergers.
3. Liaise with supervisory authorities and governing bodies.
4. Assist the Product Management Team and Project Team in launching, restructuring, and on-boarding Luxembourg, Belgian, Irish, Dutch, and Spanish investment funds managed by ISIM.
5. Participate in product approval processes with all departments for new products, strategies, and existing products with changes.
6. Prepare, review, and discuss agreements/contracts within proposed services, including management company, distribution, investment management, central administration, and depositary agreements.
7. Undertake necessary corporate legal activities for the Management Company and its investment funds.
8. Ensure the legal watch of the Management Company by contributing to the legal dashboard and analyzing impacts of new legislations related to investment funds and management companies.
9. Share knowledge with other functions within the Management Company.
