We are seeking a Financial Operations Manager to join our client, a company in the investment/real estate sector, based in Berlin.
The ideal candidate will assist and prepare cash flow projections and other information needed for proper portfolio management. They will also supervise, coordinate and guide the accounting process in close coordination with the Senior Accountant.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing loan compliance activities, including communication with the Lender, to ensure all financial obligations are met
* Monitoring intercompany and other corporate movements, such as mergers, increase/decrease of share capital, dividend distribution, etc.
* Participating in the appraisal process of assets, in close collaboration with the asset management team and external appraiser
* Collaborating with the investment and asset management team on strategic processes for implementing the Business Plan
* Closing collaboration with executive management and support in strategic financial decision-making
* Leading and developing a small finance team
Requirements include:
* Completed degree in economics or business administration, ideally with a focus on finance, controlling, or auditing
* ~5-7 years of professional experience in the finance sector, e.g. in auditing (ideally Big 4)
* Proficient in SAP & Excel
* Analytical mindset, high degree of self-motivation, and strong hands-on mentality
* Fluent or very good command of English and German
