Join our finance team as an experienced Accountant (m/f/d) and help shape the future of our growing company. We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a hands-on mindset and passion for collaboration.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain accurate and timely financial records in accordance with HGB (German Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
2. Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
3. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
5. Monitor and interpret changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the company's financial practices remain compliant.
6. Ensure invoices are posted correctly and on time, and check that payment terms with our suppliers are met.
7. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
9. Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, including management, colleagues, and external partners.
10. Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning and financial goal-setting.
Qualifications:
11. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
12. Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on HGB and IFRS
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
14. Confident in working with MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
15. Structured, detail-oriented and analytical working style.
16. Team player with strong communication skills and proactive attitude.
17. Comfortable working with deadlines in a dynamic project environment.
18. Fluent in English - German is a plus.
19. Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.
