With continuous growth across the EMEA region, they are now seeking an experienced Transport Manager EMEA to strengthen their regional logistics operations and help drive excellence across their supply chain network.
As the Transport Manager EMEA, you will oversee end-to-end transport operations across multiple European markets. You will be responsible for carrier management, service performance, cost optimisation, compliance, and continuous improvement activities. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, analytical, and hands-on leader with experience in high‑volume retail or FMCG environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage transportation activities across the EMEA region, ensuring efficient flow of goods to stores, distribution centres, and end consumers.
* Develop and execute regional transport strategies aligned with business priorities.
* Manage a diverse network of carriers, 3PLs, and logistics partners, including contract negotiation and performance governance.
* Monitor KPIs such as delivery performance, cost efficiency, lead times, and service levels, driving improvement initiatives as needed.
* Ensure compliance with transport regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
* Partner with cross‑functional teams including Supply Chain, Warehousing, Merchandising, Finance, and Sustainability to support business growth.
* Implement data-driven approaches to optimise transport planning, routing, and network performance.
* Support sustainability goals through initiatives that reduce carbon impact and improve transport efficiency.
* Lead or contribute to regional logistics projects, including network redesign, system enhancements, and carrier onboarding.
Candidate Profile
* 5+ years' experience in transport management across the EMEA region.
* Background in retail, e-commerce, FMCG, or similarly fast-paced environments.
* Strong knowledge of carrier management, transport legislation, and cross-border logistics.
* Demonstrated success in improving transport performance and reducing cost.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills across senior and operational levels.
* Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Fluency in English and German language
* Experience working with TMS systems and transport automation tools.
* Previous involvement in sustainability or carbon-reduction initiatives.
* Strong project management capabilities.
