Head of Product Management Excellence (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate the team of Product Managers in Business Unit LFF; the PMs are direct reports in the CoCs.
2. Work within a matrix organization and in a coordination function.
3. Foster close cooperation with R&D / Application Management.
4. Contribute to the alignment of strategic priorities and product development.
5. Define technology development requirements for all LFF business according to the PLM model and enhance communication.
6. Drive the defined technology development and innovation of core technologies of LFF based on market requirements and business needs.
7. Ensure technology development is supported by a business case including investment budget, business, and project plans, developed with input from relevant stakeholders.
8. Align all products with Digital/Sustainability and Service standards, according to current GEA design specs.
9. Drive initiatives like 'Add Better Labeling'.
10. Coordinate with other Business Units and Divisions on new technology development and support application development.
11. Support KPIs and strategic targets set by GEA Management, with a focus on sustainability.
12. Champion GEA values and objectives.
Your profile and qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree or PhD in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
2. Extensive experience in engineering, process industry, equipment, or food & beverage manufacturing, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
3. Experience in technology management and/or product management.
4. Proficiency in matrix organizations, influencing, and leading without direct authority.
5. Fluent in English (verbal and written) and German (level B2 or above).
6. Project management experience within R&D.
7. End-to-end process insight.
8. Open-minded to new models, ideas, and innovations.
9. Strong communication and presentation skills.
