Job Description We are recruiting an experienced Data Centre Engineer to join a major data centre development in Frankfurt. This is a long-term opportunity to work with a globally recognised engineering team delivering hyperscale infrastructure for one of Europe’s most advanced digital facilities. You will play a vital role in the technical operation and support of critical infrastructure — including power, cooling, BMS, fire systems, and environmental controls — across a live or near-completion data centre environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot MEP systems including UPS, LV/MV power, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, generators, and fire suppression Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency response activities Support handover, commissioning, and operational readiness of mechanical/electrical systems Interface with commissioning teams, subcontractors, and client engineers Maintain logs, reports, and incident records in line with site protocols Follow strict HSE procedures and escalation protocols for fault handling and service continuity Candidate Profile 5 years’ experience as a Data Centre Engineer, MEP Technician, or Facilities Engineer Strong technical understanding of critical systems: power, cooling, controls Experience in data centres, hospitals, clean rooms, or critical infrastructure preferred Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and commissioning documents Excellent fault-finding and communication skills Fluent in English (German a bonus) EU work rights or valid work permit for Germany required If you feel you have the right experience, please feel free to apply
