Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of a Ladenhilfe include handling, marking, and maintaining stock levels of grocery items.
This involves working in assigned departments, replenishing depleted stock, using cart and manual or electric pallet jacks, placing computer-generated selling price labels, and scanning product codes.
Additional tasks include checking for damaged or spoiled merchandise, referring items to supervisors, and assisting in unloading incoming shipments and inventory checks.
Ongoing responsibilities also involve operating a cash register, scanning items, and processing payments.
Cleanliness is also a priority, with the Ladenhilfe expected to clean up broken or spilled items, perform sanitizing tasks, and ensure all merchandise, supplies, and equipment are properly secured from spoilage, damage, or theft.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of general experience. Office automation skills are required, and proficiency in both English and German language (level B2) is necessary.
