Business Development Manager (Consumer Product Testing)
Job Responsibilities
* Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships to drive growth
* Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
* Collaborate with laboratory and technical teams to align service offerings with client needs
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
* Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings to promote services
* Contribute to annual business planning, market trend analysis, and target setting
* Support marketing and sales activities; provide training to external clients when required
* Assist the Business Line in achieving overall business unit objectives
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Science (Chemistry, Material Science, or related discipline)
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial laboratory or testing services industry
* Familiarity with global chemical regulations (EU, Germany, US); knowledge of food contact material requirements is an advantage
* Fluent in English and Mandarin; additional languages are a strong asset
* Result-oriented, confident, and technically competent with strong business acumen
* Excellent communication skills; self-motivated, team-oriented, and customer-focused
* Ability to provide solutions and deliver service excellence
* Experience in sustainability topics is a strong plus
