Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise customers on technical issues related to system and process engineering.
* Implement preventive maintenance measures to prevent production interruptions.
* Inspect and record safety-critical installations to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
* Assist with service order workflows by providing technical input for quotations and proposals.
* Commission equipment on-site and guarantee reliable operation at customer locations.
* Deliver application training and provide hands-on support to ensure customers use systems efficiently.
* Act as the primary technical contact for customer queries, coordinating solutions with internal teams to deliver the best outcome.
Requirements:
* Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, or equivalent vocational qualification.
* Comparable professional experience in technical field service is also acceptable.
* Familiarity with vacuum and plasma technologies.
* Familiarity with PLCs, VPD, control electronics, sensors, automation, and robot handling is a plus.
* Comfortable using digital tools as part of daily work.
* Strong communication skills in English.
* Demonstrates commitment, creativity, and adaptability.
* Customer-focused, independent worker with a practical approach.
* Willingness to travel regularly and represent the company professionally in an international environment.
