We are seeking a  Senior Full Stack Engineering Manager  with deep expertise in  backend systems (Rust, TypeScript, microservices, cloud)to lead multiple engineering teams building the  Affinidi Elements platform. While you will manage and support teams working across the full stack (backend, frontend, platform infrastructure), your technical depth and demonstrated experience in backend engineering will be crucial in guiding architecture, ensuring quality, and driving technical strategy. 
This role blends  people leadership with  technical leadership : you will grow high-performing fullstack teams, define best practices across the stack, and remain hands-on in critical technical decisions to ensure our systems are secure, scalable, and performant.

Lead multiple engineering teams, providing  vision, direction, and coaching to managers, staff engineers, and senior ICs 
Drive  engineering execution and on-time delivery of secure, performant, and customer-centric systems 
Establish and evolve  engineering best practices, delivery processes, and quality standards to scale effectively 
Mentor and develop engineering leaders, fostering  career growth, leadership depth, and technical excellence
Champion  privacy by design ,  security-first principles , and high-quality engineering across backend and frontend systems 
Proven track record of leading engineering organizations in global, high-growth environments while driving on-time delivery of high-quality systems at scale 
Are skilled at balancing  strategic vision with  practical execution , aligning engineering teams with business outcomes 
Possess  deep backend expertise in Rust (required), with strong knowledge of  TypeScript/Node.js ;  familiarity with C#, Go, or similar is a plus 
js and/or Flutter , demonstrates solid understanding of modern web and/or mobile development practices 
Demonstrate proven success in  designing, deploying, and scaling microservices in cloud environments, specifically, Amazon Web Services (AWS) 
Excel at  cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and security stakeholders 
Thrive in  fast-moving startup environments , building autonomous teams that experiment, learn, and deliver at speed
