We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Branch Director (m/f/d) to lead our operations in Hamburg, Germany .
Our activities in Germany are focused on tooling in the aeronautics sector, and we aim to develop and diversify these activities.
This role is crucial for driving growth, coordination, optimization, and profitability in the region. As the Branch Director, you will define and execute the regional strategy, aligning with our commercial development goals. You will benefit from the support of our headquarters in France and collaborate with our existing small team in Hamburg, as well as with counterparts in our English, Canadian, Romanian subsidiaries and French expertise centers.
Your Mission:
As the Branch Director, you will represent eXcent to clients and institutional partners, ensuring excellent service and follow-up. You will negotiate client contracts, conduct commercial feasibility reviews, and oversee daily project management. Additionally, you will establish and manage the regional budget, monitor financial performance, and ensure profitability. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence and fostering a cohesive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the regional strategy in line with the company's commercial development goals.
* Client Relations: Represent the company to clients and institutional partners, ensuring excellent service and follow-up.
* Commercial Management: Negotiate client contracts in collaboration with the commercial division and conduct commercial feasibility reviews for tenders.
* Financial Oversight : Establish and manage the regional budget, monitor financial performance, and ensure profitability.
* Operational Excellence : Oversee daily project management, monitor workload and staffing levels, and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
* Performance Tracking: Maintain and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, profitability, and other client metrics.
* Team Management: Lead and develop your team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and skill development.
* Safety and Compliance : Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are followed by your team.
* Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update the management team on regional performance and strategic initiatives.
Management Activities:
* Strategic Planning: Develop a roadmap for offer development, organizational structure, and resource allocation to achieve strategic objectives.
* Team Development: Share your strategic vision with activity managers and focus on team competency building.
* Workload Management: Have a clear vision of workload plans and ensure optimal resource utilization.
* Recruitment and Integration: Collaborate with the recruitment team to hire and integrate new team members.
* Performance Management: Monitor team performance, conduct annual reviews, and foster a cohesive team environment.
* Safety and Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and company policies are adhered to by your team.
Your strenghts
* Education : Hold a Master's degree in General Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience : Demonstrate significant experience in a similar role.
* Leadership: Proven ability to unite a team to achieve common goals, exhibiting strong team spirit and commitment.
* Communication : Excellent communicator with the ability to present and argue solutions effectively to various stakeholders.
* Language Skills : Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken)
