An opportunity for an exceptional and experienced HSE Manager to join the German team of one of the global leading solar and storage companies.
You will ensure all HSE activities across the projects' portfolio of both solar and BESS in Germany.
The position is permanent, based in Germany and entails regular travels.
* Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with local, national, and international HSE laws and regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for health, safety, and environmental hazards.
* Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and ensure proper reporting and corrective actions.
* Promote and enforce a safety-first culture across the organization.
* Manage internal and external audits (quality, safety, environmental).
* Monitor and report QHSE performance KPIs to management.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
* Support project teams with QHSE input during planning, execution, and handover.
* Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE, safety systems, and equipment.
* Drive continuous improvement in QHSE processes and culture.
* Manage document control for all QHSE-related procedures and records.
* Requirements:
* Solid experience in a similar role (within the renewable industry in Germany)
* HSE certifications in Germany
* Native level of German and fluent English
* A car and a driver's licence.
* Travels will be required
