Evotec is looking for a highly capable and hands-on
Digital Marketing Specialist (all genders)
Full time and permanent
to manage and optimize our digital marketing platforms, campaigns, and website ecosystem.
Role Overview:
This role is central to the execution and continuous improvement of Evotec’s digital marketing activities. You will work closely with senior marketing stakeholders who define strategy, while you are responsible for implementation, optimization, and operational excellence across key digital channels and systems.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Technology & CRM (HubSpot)
1. Manage and continuously optimize HubSpot CRM for marketing, including:
Campaign setup, segmentation, and contact lists
Marketing automation workflows and nurture programs
Lead scoring models and email marketing (incl. newsletters)
Reporting dashboards and data structure maintenance
2. Support the Salesforce–HubSpot integration in collaboration with internal teams
3. Ensure data quality and manage weekly MQL export/import processes
Digital Campaign Execution & Lead Management
4. Execute and support integrated B2B digital marketing campaigns in close coordination with marketing management
5. Collaborate with Lead Generation and Business Development teams to support MQL handover and funnel optimization
6. Contribute to improving engagement and conversion through continuous campaign optimization
Performance Marketing & Agency Coordination
7. Coordinate with external agencies (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to support:
Campaign execution and optimization
Landing page and asset development
8. Monitor performance and ensure timely delivery of campaigns and assets
9. Act as a key contact for agencies on operational topics
Website & Digital Platforms
10. Manage and maintain Evotec’s corporate website and digital platforms (incl. Science Pool Resource Hub):
Content publishing and governance
Page creation, updates, and optimization
Coordination with development agencies
11. Support SEO activities in collaboration with external partners
12. Monitor and optimize website performance using analytics tools (e.g. GA4)
13. Act as webmaster, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement
Social Media Support
14. Provide operational support for Evotec’s social media activities to complement and support the existing social media function within the marketing team to ensure smooth execution of planned activities and alignment with broader marketing initiatives including:
Coordinating content inputs and supporting content publishing
Tracking KPIs and preparing performance reports
Maintaining and supporting the social media calendar
Supporting employee advocacy initiatives (e.g. Oktopost)
Creative & Content Support
15. Create and adapt digital marketing assets such as:
Ad banners, social visuals, and basic video content
16. Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
17. Support the marketing team with creative execution as needed
Analytics & Reporting
18. Track, analyze, and report on campaign and channel performance
19. Generate insights on:
Lead generation and conversion performance
User engagement and website behavior
Campaign effectiveness and trends
20. Provide clear recommendations to support continuous improvement
Qualifications:
21. Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
22. 3–6 years of experience in digital marketing, ideally in a B2B environment
23. Strong hands-on experience with:
HubSpot (essential) and marketing automation
Campaign execution and lead management
Website management (CMS, SEO, analytics tools such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console)
Performance marketing channels (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
24. Experience working with external agencies and cross-functional teams
25. Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
26. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
27. Familiarity with Salesforce integrations is a plus
28. Experience with SEO tools (e.g. SemRush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs or SEOclarity)
29. Basic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, Canva, PlayPlay or similar)
30. Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms
31. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly organized
32. Strong execution mindset with a focus on quality and delivery
33. Data-driven and solution-oriented
34. Collaborative team player with strong communication skills
35. Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
