Your tasks We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented EE Architecture Engineer to develop and optimize the physical E/E architecture of our L4 Holon People Mover. You will ensure system performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency while collaborating closely with Function Development, Systems Engineering, Integration, Safety, Cybersecurity, and Wiring Harness teams. Your tasks: Review existing physical vehicle architectures and optimize communication systems (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, LIN, hardwired) Ensure stable communication considering busload, cable lengths, and bandwidth requirements Collaborate with power supply engineers to optimize vehicle power distribution Improve physical architecture based on review findings and design optimizations Coordinate with the Wiring Harness team to ensure smooth integration Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Systems Engineering, Safety, and Cybersecurity Independently control and support development service partners on E/E architecture topics Optimize architecture for cost, performance, and scalability while maintaining system integrity Ensure all architecture designs comply with industry standards and best practice recommendations Support the Integration team in resolving architecture-related issues Your profile Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 5 years of experience in physical E/E vehicle architectures Deep knowledge of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, CAN FD, SOME/IP) and design standards Experience with Vector PREEvision is an advantage Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex problems About us HOLON is one of the first vehicle manufacturers for autonomous movers with the standards and scaling potential that we know from the automotive industry.
