Meraki Talent are currently seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious Senior Accountant who is ready to take ownership of key accounting activities and support the wider finance function in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The Opportunity
As Senior Accountant, you will play a central role in the day-to-day finance operations, and working closely with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
* Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate with external auditors during the year-end process
* Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of the general ledger and related financial records
* Support group reporting activities and internal management reporting
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with finance transformation projects
What We're Looking For
* 6+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
* Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred
* Experience in both audit (e.g. Big 4 or mid-tier) and in-house finance roles is a strong advantage
* Solid understanding of German GAAP and IFRS
* Experience preparing financial statements and managing audit processes
* Strong attention to detail, with an analytical mindset and proactive approach
* Fluency in German and English is essential
