We are looking for someone with key skills and able to perform the following roles & responsibilities :-
Drive Test Engineer
Munich, Germany
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, coordinate, and execute test drives to verify the performance and functionality of automotive telematics systems
* Perform daily software flashing, read and upload traces, and prepare detailed reports on anomalies and test results.
* Conduct ad-hoc tests and stand tests as needed.
* Identify, document and follow up on errors and irregularities during test drives.
* Provide direct reporting of test results to the customer and work closely with engineering teams
* Lead and support a small team of 2 test drivers, including task allocation and mentoring.
* Assist colleagues who are conducting vehicle tests, ensuring smooth operations and knowledge sharing.
* Participate in multi-day testing campaigns when required, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
1. Requirements:
* Experience in Automotive Infotainment and ideally BMW qualifications (B1, B2, E1).
* Experience in coordinating test activities and ideally leading small teams.
* Ability to communicate test results clearly and effectively to customers and internal teams.
* High sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
* Flexibility to participate in multi-day testing campaigns and ad-hoc testing activities.
* Fluent in English and German
