We are currently partnering with one of our global packaging clients to assist in their search for a
Sales Manager
, who will report directly to the Commercial Director of the Business Unit.

The company is renowned for its innovation and sustainability in flexible packaging. They are a rapidly growing, private equity-backed business that has recently undergone a leadership transition. They are now looking for a commercially driven
Sales Manager
to spearhead the development of the DACH region, with a focus on the food sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and manage a customer portfolio to achieve +3.5% growth and €8M target turnover, with margin improvement.
* Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers through proactive support.
* Prospect and convert 50% of leads, securing at least one new customer annually.
* Sell our client's products and suggest improvements for enhanced customer excellence.
* Handle price requests and tenders in collaboration with relevant teams.
* Support plants with late payment follow-ups when necessary.
* Monitor market trends and customer needs, working with Group Marketing.
* Participate in product development by providing feedback on samples and R&D tests.
* Assist customers with quality issues
* Ensure accurate reporting using tools like forecasts, budgets, and visit reports.

Key Requirements:

* Industry experience in flexible packaging
* Hunter mindset
* Deep understanding of flexible packaging, with familiarity across food segments
* Proven B2B sales record
* Strong business acumen, relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach.
* Fluent in English and German
