Your mission You communicate directly with our customers around the globe, supporting them with professional and technical inquiries regarding our software solutions. You analyze, prioritize and solve complex application-related issues in close collaboration with colleagues from Product Development and Project Management. You continuously expand your knowledge of IPOINT products, hosting environments and customer-specific setups to provide high-level support at all times. You assess incoming support tickets and coordinate escalations in a structured and solution-oriented way. You independently perform software installations, updates, and upgrades. You contribute to the development of support documentation and knowledge bases, ensuring your expertise is shared across the team. You actively participate in internal projects and contribute ideas and initiative to help drive improvements. You also take part in our on-call support rotation. Your profile / Qualifications You have a degree or a comparable qualification in (business) informatics, material/product compliance or a related field. You bring at least 3 years of professional experience in IT support or in a similarly technical role. You have hands-on knowledge of web servers (Apache, Tomcat), operating systems (Windows and Linux) and ideally programming skills (XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Java) as well as experience with databases (Oracle). You are confident using Microsoft Office and ideally have experience working with JIRA and Confluence. You are familiar with ITIL or similar service frameworks and have worked with structured incident management processes. Ideally, you have first-hand experience in fields like Material Compliance, IMDS, or Product Sustainability – or you understand the processes of OEMs and/or automotive suppliers. You approach challenges analytically and solution-oriented and can communicate technical information clearly and understandably. You work reliably, in a structured, team-oriented way – and remain calm and focused even under pressure. You are fluent in German and have strong English language skills – both written and spoken.
