Job Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute a strategic sourcing plan for the European region, focusing specifically on high-quality electronic component suppliers (OEMs, authorized/independent distributors)
2. Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of new supplier introduction in Europe, including technical audits, quality system assessments, and formal qualification processes.
3. Establish and rigorously manage supplier performance evaluation metrics for the German/European supplier base, driving improvement initiatives in cost, quality, and delivery.
4. Build and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key German/European supplier management teams, ensuring favorable commercial terms.
5. Monitor European market dynamics and regulatory changes. Mitigate supply risks and ensure all suppliers maintain full compliance with local German and EU procurement laws and quality standards.
6. Collaborate closely with the Germany Sales, Quality, and global Sourcing teams to ensure seamless supplier integration and product flow across the entire value chain.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, or supply chain management within the electronic components industry.
2. Demonstrated success in developing and managing suppliers within Germany or the wider DACH/European region is highly preferred.
3. Professional working proficiency in both English and German (C1 level or equivalent)
4. Deep understanding of the electronic component market and supply chain ecosystem in Germany and Central Europe.
5. Solid knowledge of cross-border trade, logistics, and EU/German procurement compliance standards.
