Development Manager / Project Leader (m/f/d) – Medical Lasers (Fiber and Diode Lasers)
at our location in Brühler Str. 30, Bonn, to start as soon as possible.
* Lead the project development and implementation of projects in the field of medical lasers
* Design optical, mechanical, and electronic systems
* Coordinate interdisciplinary teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
* Take responsibility for the entire project lifecycle, from requirements analysis to series production
* Integrate diverse technologies and disciplines into the development process
* Conduct performance testing at module and system level and document results in compliance with applicable standards
* Manage the transfer of new products from development to production
* Create and maintain technical documentation and provide regular project status reports
* Master's degree in Physics, Optics, Photonics, Laser Technology, Engineering, or a closely related field
* At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the development and manufacturing of lasers and fiber-based components – ideally in fiber and solid-state laser technologies
* In-depth understanding of laser physics, optical components, and thermal management
* Practical experience with optical simulation tools and electronic control systems
* Several years of experience in project management and interdisciplinary collaboration
* Familiarity with complex systems and technological integration
* Experience in developing and integrating diverse technological components
* Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
