Lead and continuously improve HR operations across the full employee lifecycle (recruitment support, onboarding, employment, development, offboarding)
Act as the primary HR business partner for senior management, providing guidance on organizational, workforce, and people-related decisions
Translate business strategy into effective HR policies, structures, and processes
Drive professionalization and standardization of HR processes across the organization
HR Operations & Compliance
Own and oversee all HR administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and legal compliance
Ensure full compliance with labor laws, GDPR, internal policies, and audit requirements
Maintain responsibility for HR documentation, contracts, and employee records
Payroll, Benefits & Workforce Administration
~ Oversee benefits administration, payroll, time & leave management, and employee data integrity
HR Policies, Governance & Processes
Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and company standards
Act as policy owner and escalation point for HR-related governance topics
Reporting, Data & Management Support
Own HR reporting for senior management (headcount, workforce structure, KPIs, compliance metrics)
Analyze HR data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Support management decision-making with structured HR insights and recommendations
Promote a positive, professional, and compliant work environment
Lead or sponsor employee engagement initiatives, company events, and recognition programs
Support leadership in performance management, feedback culture, and employee development
Own HR systems and tools (Personio as selected tool for implementation), ensuring effective use and continuous improvement
Drive automation, process optimization, and digitalization of HR workflows
Act as internal HR subject matter expert for systems, processes, and best practices
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
Several years of professional experience in HR, including HR Generalist, HR Manager, or comparable role
Strong, hands-on knowledge of labor law, HR compliance, and HR operations
Proven experience advising management on HR and workforce topics
Experience coordinating payroll, benefits, and external service providers
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all hierarchy levels
Strong analytical skills and experience with HR reporting and data-driven decision-making
Fluent German & English
