Job purpose/role
The Private Debt team designs and steers the Luxembourg- domiciled private debt portfolio for the Allianz Group, and we are looking for support in the management of day-to-day operations of our investment funds, with a focus on leveraging on data analysis to enhance efficiency and decision- making.
* Evaluation and preparation of financial reports for various strategies within the private debt space
* Support the analysis of new private debt investment proposals
* Prepare for and actively participate in meetings with asset managers and decision makers
* Assist in automatization of processes and establishing new tools for analysing data
* Utilize data analysis tools like PowerBI, Python, R, and SQL to support portfolio managers
* Work on portfolio management related topics such as managing fund's liquidity, hedging, invoice processing
* Very strong academical background
* Passion for financial markets, investments, and data analysis; fixed income or alternative investments knowledge is an advantage
* Experienced in using Microsoft Platforms, with a preference for knowledge of MS office apps, database and data analytics tools, such as Power BI, Automate, Apps, Office Script & Python.
* Strong result orientation and ability to work towards tight deadlines
* Excellent analytical and communication skills
* Strong team player who enjoys working in a diverse and international environment
* Previous work experience in the financial industry is a plus.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken)

* You are preferably available for a period of at least 5-6 months.
* You must be registered as a student for the entire duration of the work term. Please provide proof of your student status (matriculation certificate or equivalent).
* You have completed your undergraduate studies in finance, economics, mathematics, data science, statistics, computer science, or a related field with solid credentials and are currently registered in a master's program in finance, data science, or a related field.
