We are currently looking for a Workplace Associate (m/f/d) to join our team at Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg.
The Workplace Associate contributes to maintaining functional facilities at Giga Berlin. The position encompasses all aspects of customer service and requires a professional, positive, and solution-oriented attitude.
What You'll Do
* Maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of workplace equipment and systems using technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
* Independent performance of equipment repairs, furniture maintenance, and building adjustments
* Collaboration with the Workplace Operations Team on office moves and other building-wide projects
* Providing excellent customer service by supporting stakeholders with minor adjustments and handling small tasks
* Quick and timely completion of tasks, providing feedback, and maintaining a positive attitude
* Efficient management and execution a daily list of small projects for the Workplace Team
What You'll Bring
* Knowledge of working with hand tools and power tools
* Practical, hands-on attitude
* Strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to interact with all levels of management or suppliers
* Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 20 kg
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a high-performance, cross-functional organization with tight deadlines and ambitious goals
* Strong team skills to effectively implement maintenance activities
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform tasks according to standards
* Class B driver's license
* Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain it)
* Communicative proficiency in English
* Communicative proficiency in German
* Experience in similar positions such as janitor, building technician, technician, or craftsman (advantageous)
* Qualification as a technician or vocational school or relevant practical experience
* working with a ticket system
* using company phone with Outlook and Teams
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Ability to work at heights (on lifting platforms)
