The following challenges await you:
1. As an intern in our Operating Company "Heraeus Precious Metals" you will make a valuable contribution to the Data Science Team.
2. Leverage varied domain knowledge to architect and roll-out cutting-edge solutions which tackle uncharted business challenges.
3. Craft and deploy end-to-end data pipelines, from data ingestion to visualization.
4. Support development and operations of machine learning models and algorithms.
5. Contribute to optimizing business processes by working on a wide variety of data science projects ranging from R&D and manufacturing, to finance and sustainability.
6. Excited to collaborate in an international environment together with cross-functional teams.
Your profile:
7. Enrolled in a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics or related fields
8. Enthusiasm for the field of AI
9. Requirement from your academic institution to complete a mandatory internship with a duration of at least 4 months
10. Experience programming in Python, SQL, R or related language
11. Initial experience with data analysis platforms (e.g., Dataiku, Splunk, RapidMiner), with databases (e.g., SAP HANA, MSSQL, MongoDB), and with data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Grafana, Power BI) are an advantage
12. Good knowledge of the English language and MS Office
13. Analytical skills and able to work successfully, both independently and as part of a team
