For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS in Donauwörth we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH!
Candidates must be eligible to work on military or NATO projects with the necessary security clearances.
Your Tasks
* Develop and implement maintenance and diagnostic concepts for civil and military helicopter programs throughout the product lifecycle.
* Monitor and manage suppliers responsible for Built-In Test (BIT) functions in avionics systems and equipment.
* Develop fault-monitoring logic, troubleshooting procedures, and system-level diagnostic strategies.
* Create fault cause-and-effect models and define rules for fault detection and false alarm filtering.
* Support avionics system development, testing, validation, and certification activities.
* Prepare technical deliverables, including specifications, validation reports, and certification documentation.
* Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets, and outsourced engineering activities.
* Define and supervise subcontractor work packages, validate deliverables, and ensure compliance with technical, quality, and contractual requirements.
Your Profile
* Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace development programs.
* At least 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Product Development, or Design Engineering.
* Strong experience in avionics systems engineering, avionics testing, and avionics architecture development.
* Experience with maintenance design, troubleshooting concepts, fault diagnostics, and embedded system testability (BIT).
* Knowledge of safety analyses (e.g., FMEA), certification processes, and aerospace documentation standards.
* Experience in project management, supplier management, subcontracting, and budget control.
* Fluent English is required; basic German is required; French is considered an advantage.

* Salary range: €63,000 - €65,000 per year (based on a 35-hour workweek, depending on experience)
