We blend cutting-edge technology with stringent security to protect sensitive payment data while nurturing innovation in a cloud-native tech environment.As Head of Sales Operations (d/f/m), you will be responsible for the strategic and operational management as well as the continuous optimization of all sales-supporting processes and systems.Your focus will be on enabling the sales organization through structured, data-driven processes and deep expertise in the areas of payment, acquiring, pricing, and digitalization. In this role, you act as a key interface between Sales, Product Management, Finance, and external partners.Your TasksTake ownership of the development and optimization of the Sales Operations strategy to increase efficiency, transparency, and scalability.Lead and further develop the Sales Operations team in the mid to long term.Support the definition and execution of go-to-market strategies.Build and maintain a transparent pricing framework, including managing the pricing of payment products (e.g. acquiring, girocard fees, interchange, scheme fees).Support contract negotiations with clients and partners in close collaboration with Legal & Compliance.Establish and continuously improve commission settlement processes for internal and external sales partners.Collaborate closely with Product and IT on the ongoing development of payment processing platforms.Oversee clearing processes and coordinate them with Finance & Controlling.Manage collaboration with external service providers through a structured vendor management approach.Implement and further develop digital sales enablement tools (e.g. CRM systems, offer management, workflow tools).Design and implement efficient process management structures, particularly in the context of growing regulatory and market requirements.Prepare and analyze sales KPIs to support data-driven decision-making for management.Your ExperienceDegree in Business Administration, Business Informatics or a comparable qualificationSeveral years of professional experience in Sales Operations or a similar role, ideally in the payment or financial services industryIn-depth knowledge of acquiring, payment facilitator models, girocard fee structures, pricing models, and clearing processesProven experience in designing and managing go-to-market processesStrong understanding of contracting and experience working with Legal and Compliance teamsExcellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of processesFamiliarity with modern CRM and billing systems; Salesforce knowledge is a plusHigh level of initiative, strong organizational skills, and demonstrated leadership competenceOur BenefitsDeutschland ticket, subsidized subscription1.000 euro annual learning and development budget + internal training platformsDiscounts on travel, fashion, technology, and more through our corporate benefitsREWE discount card for REWE group retailersJobRad, affordable bicycle leasingCompany pension planInsurance servicesPerks of Working With UsHybrid working environmentFlexible working hours that fit your workflow, your time mattersLanguage courses (English and German)Work with modern and agile software such as Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Jira, Lattice, Miro and ConfluenceCompany events including Hackathons and Company DaysAsk us more about these!We are looking forward to getting to know you - so, even if you feel that you don’t quite meet all the requirements, but the position still excites you and you think you would love to work with us, please reach out!
