Job Posting: SAP WM Consultant (Client Carve-Out Project)
Location: Hybrid (80% Remote / 20% On-Site in Heidelberg)

About the Project
We are supporting a high-impact SAP Client Carve-Out project focused on the organizational separation of a specific business segment from an existing company code. The segment will be migrated into a new company code within a separate SAP client as part of a strategic realignment or IPO preparation. This involves comprehensive data and process migration across key SAP modules, with a strong emphasis on maintaining business continuity and data integrity.
As the Sub-Project Lead for SAP Warehouse Management (WM), you will be responsible for driving the WM-related workstream of the carve-out. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to design, manage, and execute WM-specific tasks across the carve-out lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead system and data analysis in SAP WM and its integration with SAP MM and SD.
* Identify required carve-out actions and extract relevant WM data for analysis.
* Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and drive decisions.
* Develop a detailed WM carve-out blueprint and provide actionable recommendations.
* Implement approved recommendations and support migration activities.
* Define and maintain WM data mapping rules.
* Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials for end users.
Required Qualifications
* Degree in Business Information Systems, Logistics, or a related field.
* Several years of professional experience as an SAP WM consultant.
* Strong SAP WM configuration expertise and deep understanding of key WM data elements.
* Solid knowledge of logistics processes and how they are implemented in SAP.
* Experience with integration across SAP WM, MM, and SD modules.
* Strong analytical skills and a structured, proactive approach to work.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
